A promotion package for a new film

After discussing options with the rest of the group, i think question two might be the project we take on for A2.
2. A promotion package for a new film, to include a teaser trailer, together with two of the following three options:

a website homepage for the film;

a film magazine front cover, featuring the film;

a poster for the film.
Already our group have begun to discuss what we might do, and researched well known film trailers for inspiration.

 From this clip, we instantly connote the use of fades to black. The trailer is fast pace, to keep the audience interested in the action on the screen. Another common trick used in movie trailers is to include , every exiting moment in the film, to attract views. This often leaves the audience angry, if the rest of the film isn't as good, however will increase the profit, its one of the tricks of the trade. The trailer will introduce every main character, featuring attractive characters, because 'sex sells'. If the audience has an instant attraction to a character, this will increase the chance of them actually going to watch/to buy the film.
The trailer will begin at a slow pace, then the shots become quicker and tighter and full of action, to come to a climax. At this point it will leave the audience exited, and the trailer i will come to an end, leaving them wanting more.
