How does your media product represent particular social groups?

In our film we represent the social group of young white females. We portrayed our character as pure and vulnerable by dressing her in a cardigan and white trainers. White signifies purity and that she may be a virgin which adds to the eeriness , that the attack may be one of sexual motives.
High angle shots, signify to the audience that the person featured in the shot is the victim, and that someone may be looking down on them which makes them the lesser power.
Focusing on the social group of teenagers, she is shown talking to a male via text, which brings up two points we have made. Teenagers at this age commonly blossom relationships at this particular stage in their lives, and believe there in love (puppy love) which always quickly comes to a tragic end. However this end ins extremely more tragic then usual.
Another point is the use of technology, a Mobile phone, and young adolescents use text messages to communicate rather then phone calls. This is because we live in the computer generation they don't make much real contact they communicate through phone or computer screens.
We challenge ideology's by crossing classic with modern film, which creates a new and exiting take on films we had researched.
